The Design Justice Certificate addresses structural inequity from various perspectives, encompassing social, technological, environmental, economic, and political dimensions within the realm of design. The curriculum brings together diverse disciplines within the College of Design to provide a deep understanding of how design may impose advantages or burdens upon individuals and communities with differing identities. It emphasizes the adept application and enhancement of community-based, liberatory, and Indigenous practices and knowledge in the domain of design.
